Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torrey Molloy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Rigan Frankson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes of play, Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ter Stegen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victorino Lazcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnold McDecland charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Purple Talents supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Purple Talents would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
