Ter Stegen made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Marcin Cebula sent off a good shot on target. Ter Stegen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 15th minute. Ter Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Ariel Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Madureira came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Torrey Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Leguizamón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Kristian Markham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Ulysses Madureira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ter Stegen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigan Frankson in the 43rd minute of the match. After 47 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Salgueiro. Ter Stegen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ulysses Madureira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Leguizamón. That made the score 2-1 after 75 minutes of play. Ersin Uyguralp hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchell Godwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Dawid Czaplicki hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Arnold McDecland from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Ariel Leguizamón's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
