After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Aníbal Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ter Stegen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Lukas to maneuver through the defense. After the first half 1948 MKS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aníbal Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ter Stegen having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Aníbal Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Francisc Mândru to fire away a dangerous shot which Ter Stegen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Aníbal Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Magne Allbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sandro Schmidt hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Arnold McDecland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magne Allbom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yu Yang Bing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Brasil took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aníbal Brasil might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ter Stegen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aníbal Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aníbal Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Brasil couldn't finish the play. In the 96thth minute of the game Aníbal Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
