The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Duarte in the 2nd minute of the match. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conan Duarte in the 5th minute of play. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gerardo Lordi sent off a good shot on target. Golo Duarte hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Santa Margarita defense, Radul Tishev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pontus Nordström. The Santa Margarita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Nordström should have stopped the shot. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radul Tishev in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Duarte came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo De Francesco hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Ulisses Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pontus Nordström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Icardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Duarte was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
