In the 3rd match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Benjamin da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pontus Nordström. Benjamin da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Luiz Pesquera came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Pesqueira City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Pesquera couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Witomir Pisarczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pontus Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pontus Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström. Pontus Nordström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pontus Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 38th minute of play. Pontus Nordström was a little too slow when Benjamin da Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 4-1. Benjamin da Fonseca came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pontus Nordström could save by the left post. Fabian Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin da Fonseca made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesqueira City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Klaus Mohammadi replaced Enzo Peruxu. 58 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Orland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Mauro Icardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Sebastião Quintal replaced Luiz Pesquera. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Hansson in the 74th minute of the match. Mauro Icardi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-2 to the left of a surprised Jeremias Orland 78 minutes into the match. Jeremias Orland was a little too slow when Mauro Icardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 4-3. In the 88th minute of the game Thomas Cochrane made a throw-in which Sebastião Quintal played forward. In the 90th minute Sebastião Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Orland came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi. But to his dismay, Mauro Icardi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
