Markus Vähäsavo's late challenge caught a ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Vähäsavo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Vähäsavo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manchester United FC made a substitution. Iiro Riksman replaced Markus Vähäsavo. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Markus Vähäsavo hit a great ball. Besim Vecdet scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin van der Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Alfred Laulaja got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Besim Vecdet managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's supporters rose to their feet, but Besim Vecdet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Besim Vecdet in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin van der Sar saved Manchester United FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taisto Pentsinen in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gottfrid Hedström saved ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ from getting behind. Valdemar Kuoppala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gottfrid Hedström made a huge save. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Besim Vecdet in the 35th minute of play. Gottfrid Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Kuoppala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Taisto Pentsinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ were awarded a corner. Adrastos Kourempes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Fotis Theofilopoulos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Manchester United FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Kuoppala was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Valdemar Kuoppala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Gottfrid Hedström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rio Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Kuoppala came free, but Gottfrid Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Besim Vecdet. But to his dismay, Besim Vecdet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ made a substitution. Aias Kreskas replaced Besim Vecdet. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Stasio Plachetka was substituted for Oliver Bogren. Rio Ferdinand's late challenge caught a ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The crowd rose to their feet as ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Aias Kreskas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edwin van der Sar. That made the score 0-4 after 84 minutes of play. Adrastos Kourempes hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Valdemar Kuoppala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrastos Kourempes to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Adrastos Kourempes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
