After 16 minutes of play, União Sport Clube Paredes's Dabi Saens made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dinu Oardă made a huge save.
