Marco Ruben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Long Yuan De having to make a save. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. Long Yuan De stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Ruben's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were awarded a corner. Zézinho Coutinho went to the cornerflag to take it. After 13 played minutes ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Sergipano. When ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Ruben in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Long Yuan De saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Alesandro Coutinho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Baldeón Bretal in the 24 minute of the game. Marco Ruben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Long Yuan De having to make a save. Long Yuan De made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Marco Ruben sent off a good shot on target. Marco Ruben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Long Yuan De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 26th minute of play. If Álvaro Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alesandro Coutinho in the 30th minute of play. Long Yuan De came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben. But to his dismay, Marco Ruben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De got control of the ball when Marco Ruben tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute Zarando Eguizabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Long Yuan De. Long Yuan De yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A hard shot 44 in the game by Marco Ruben from a close distance when the talented Long Yuan De managed to make a qualified save. Astillero del Guayas's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Ruben got free with Long Yuan De in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marco Ruben made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Yuan De saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Yuan De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Sergipano in the 57th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Álvaro Sergipano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Long Yuan De was left in no man's land by his defense there! Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Ruben in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosendo Danel in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Long Yuan De prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Long Yuan De came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben. But to his dismay, Marco Ruben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Marco Ruben blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Long Yuan De having to make a save. After a rather tough play, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Rosendo Danel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Danel. A hard shot by Zarando Eguizabal from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Walmir Catarinense's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Marco Ruben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Ruben in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Long Yuan De made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Marco Ruben might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Long Yuan De. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Ruben ran back to his position shaking his head. Long Yuan De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 86th minute of play. Long Yuan De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Ruben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astillero del Guayas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
