When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Marco Ruben took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rosario Escarza to make any attempt to save it. After 18 played minutes LVCVS AVGVSTI got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Ríos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Ruben got free with Rosario Escarza in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Aníbal Ríos got a free kick in the 21st minute. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 24th minute of play. Walmir Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Chano in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Ruben made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ruben in the 51st minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Quirino. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Alesandro Coutinho was substituted for Leonel Romero. After 62 played minutes ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Quirino. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Ruben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Skytt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Walmir Catarinense made a huge save. If Marco Ruben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Ruben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ booed when LVCVS AVGVSTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Ríos didn't get a good kick on the ball. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Quirce Salan was substituted for Ronny Skytt. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Almir de Barros was substituted for Jerzy Seliga. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Dominic Toretto was substituted for Aníbal Ríos. In the 76th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Ríos to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes LVCVS AVGVSTI got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Jax. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ruben in the 79th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Walmir Catarinense got control of the ball when Quirce Salan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quirce Salan. Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quirce Salan in the 92nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Zézinho Coutinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rosario Escarza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Many of LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. LVCVS AVGVSTI may have spent more time on the ball, but ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
