After 12 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Michael Guisla. 13 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Solustiano Blea came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Åkerström in the 15th minute of play. When Inigo Cueli fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s protests and gave Inigo Cueli a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena got control of the ball when Sandu Mândrilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cordario Bazarra got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Chepe Margarita. Sandu Mândrilă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ermengol Baena made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandu Mândrilă got free with Ermengol Baena in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Fred Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermengol Baena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quirce Lamas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The Playa Malvín fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Fred Åkerström made the kick off in the second half. Elivareo Mouro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gombal Avellaneda got free with Zé Roberto Teixeira in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Fred Åkerström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermengol Baena. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Åkerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
