In the 16th minute, Benjamin Carberry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harm Rooy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match Henrik Ooms sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harm Rooy skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harm Rooy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With splendid footwork Xiao Ping Nan arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 25th minute. Harm Rooy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Radzyminski in the 28th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Waud De Geyter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute of the match, Mirko Blank tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waud De Geyter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st minute of the match The Dalwhinnie Boys got a corner. Silver Squad AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bjorn Kuijpers ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bjorn Kuijpers made a great header on The Dalwhinnie Boys's corner, it was just that Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mirko Blank in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erben Weggemans in the 35th minute of play. The corner led Silver Squad AFC's Henrik Ooms to fire away a dangerous shot which Harm Rooy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Loid De Keuster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silver Squad AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loid De Keuster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Harm Rooy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Carberry made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Silver Squad AFC's zone, Jacco Meier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waud De Geyter came out of the goal and Jacco Meier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Silver Squad AFC booed when The Dalwhinnie Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Wegman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bror Litenboks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harm Rooy having to make a save. Xiao Ping Nan scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waud De Geyter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harm Rooy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 64th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Robert-Jan ten Rouwelaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harm Rooy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Carberry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loid De Keuster struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Harm Rooy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silver Squad AFC. 82 minutes into the match, The Dalwhinnie Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Carberry came free, but Harm Rooy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Izydor Czysta hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Bjorn Kuijpers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waud De Geyter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to The Dalwhinnie Boys getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ger Mols hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Ger Mols got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
