Norberto Renteria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 3rd minute. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Norberto Renteria. A collision led to De Ontembare Leeuwen getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jacco Hoving hit a great ball. Norberto Renteria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when De Ontembare Leeuwen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stef Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ed Palsma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Norberto Renteria made a huge save. After 11 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Riemer Fries. Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Stefan Popken got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dolf Schoonderwoerd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Norberto Renteria made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 19th minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Norberto Renteria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ed Palsma in the 23rd minute. Raymond Heersprink got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sander Spoel. 26 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Olalla came free, but Norberto Renteria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Popken ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Daniël Jongsma came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piearres Olalla to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Renteria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Renteria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dolf Schoonderwoerd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norberto Renteria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Norberto Renteria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piearres Olalla in the 59th minute of play. Norberto Renteria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Emil Kyurpanov hit a great ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Renteria was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Stef Mol kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Norberto Renteria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Renteria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute Jacco Hoving shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4-1 became the score in the 90th minute when Dolf Schoonderwoerd elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Norberto Renteria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Renteria. De Ontembare Leeuwen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Ontembare Leeuwen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Underdogs.
