With a couple of smart ball manuevers Winarto Songgonau in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Vanbuyten saved Portus Ganda from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Olliver Bautmans came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jüri Djorkaeff in the 27th minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jüri Djorkaeff in the 28th minute of play. Waut Van Der Meeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Knopek, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The Portus Ganda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olliver Bautmans to make the kick off. Frederic Van Caels's late challenge caught a Anversa Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederic Van Caels helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Frederic Van Caels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olliver Bautmans in the 57th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Tony Vanbuyten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Waut Van Der Meeren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konrad Knopek's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jüri Djorkaeff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portus Ganda's supporters rose to their feet, but Jüri Djorkaeff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waut Van Der Meeren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anversa Club's Dominik Hollants was substituted for Mickael De Winter. After some careless play in the Portus Ganda defense, Nestor Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Vanbuyten. The Portus Ganda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Vanbuyten should have stopped the shot.
