Ted Stroobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robertinho Carabajal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Steven made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Zhou Kang Cheng sent off a good shot on target. When AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AFC Koolkerke's supporters rose to their feet, but Clóvis Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Stroobos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan van Asseldonk in the 32nd minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas van Diemen to maneuver through the defense. Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robertinho Carabajal to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Ted Stroobos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th minute, Robertinho Carabajal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robertinho Carabajal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ted Stroobos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robertinho Carabajal. Ted Stroobos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Smits went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ted Stroobos came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal. But to his dismay, Robertinho Carabajal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Koit got free with Ted Stroobos in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robertinho Carabajal took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Stroobos. Ted Stroobos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. AFC Koolkerke's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
