An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 17th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, De Keikoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natan Vermeesch to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu got control of the ball when Joachim Van Der Meren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Bruno Marceau got a free kick in the 32nd minute. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. Lionel Van Den Broek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Łukasz Zwolinski's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Huveneers came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Rolf Huveneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to FFC Merainies 03's Łukasz Zwolinski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. De Keikoppers's Joachim Van Der Meren got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as FFC Merainies 03's Ksawery Gongola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lionel Van Den Broek. That made the score 0-1 after 61 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Craandijk in the 64th minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Lionel Van Den Broek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Rolf Huveneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Joachim Van Der Meren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ksawery Gongola managed to get in a good position for a shot. FFC Merainies 03's supporters rose to their feet, but Ksawery Gongola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lionel Van Den Broek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Rolf Huveneers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the game, FFC Merainies 03's Łukasz Zwolinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lionel Van Den Broek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn De Smedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Ksawery Gongola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Lionel Van Den Broek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Rolf Huveneers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Łukasz Zwolinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FFC Merainies 03 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
