With a little luck, AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven got control of the ball when Leon Craandijk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 minutes AFC Koolkerke's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Botello who took care of the corner kick. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Koolkerke from getting a goal against them. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 11th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Craandijk came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute FFC Merainies 03 were awarded a corner. Fabio Botello went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fabio Botello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulises Steven quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Łukasz Zwolinski in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Smits in the 29th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Marceau to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Ksawery Gongola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Gongola in the 34th minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Craandijk got free with Ulises Steven in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 40th minute of the match. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ksawery Gongola was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Łukasz Zwolinski made a precise shot to the right of Ulises Steven. AFC Koolkerke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to AFC Koolkerke getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Clóvis Bittencourt hit a great ball. Fabio Botello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Steven having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Bruno Marceau in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Koolkerke's Clóvis Bittencourt. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Łukasz Zwolinski in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Tang Di Nan threw the ball into play from the sideline. FFC Merainies 03's Patrick Josselin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Łukasz Zwolinski in the 72nd minute of play. Ulises Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Craandijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robertinho Carabajal's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola in the 82nd minute of play. If Robertinho Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Łukasz Zwolinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Leon Craandijk notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven. Ulises Steven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Łukasz Zwolinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Steven was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Ulises Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Craandijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that FFC Merainies 03 were the better team. FFC Merainies 03's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
