Fauna Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emiliano Caiola ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th minute Yuri Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Yuri Portugal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yorrick Zoethout was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dante Huts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yorrick Zoethout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Fauna Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emiliano Caiola fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Karel Cromefeldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yorrick Zoethout was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Caiola came free, but Radamel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SV Balverliefd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yorrick Zoethout should have stopped the shot. Steven Homan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Steven Homan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Radamel Hendrickx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Yuri Portugal made the kick off in the second half. If Emiliano Caiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Fauna Utd's Yorrick Zoethout threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yuri Portugal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Yuri Portugal came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Fauna Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Portugal couldn't finish the play. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Portugal in the 69th minute of play. The nice shot from Yuri Portugal in the 69thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Yorrick Zoethout had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Lisandro Heerckes got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Virgil Lindelöf. In the 79th minute Karel Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Steven Homan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radamel Hendrickx was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Portugal in the 85th minute of the match.
