Jacksonville 67 were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after The Wolfpack™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Burak Öz took the corner. Joost Opdam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Carabajal having to interfere. In the 15th minute, one of The Wolfpack™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Wolfpack™. Tibúrcio Carabajal had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Burak Öz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, King Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacksonville 67's supporters crossed their fingers, but King Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by George Ivens. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Batistuta in the 22nd minute of play forced The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Tibúrcio Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. King Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tibúrcio Carabajal having to make a save. King Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tibúrcio Carabajal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. King Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Tibúrcio Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Batistuta in the 36th minute of the match. If Sven Horring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacksonville 67's attentive Joost Opdam managed to snatch the ball when George Ivens made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and King Batistuta made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, George Ivens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Wolfpack™'s Tibúrcio Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Batistuta in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Jacksonville 67's King Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibúrcio Carabajal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jacksonville 67's Joost Opdam quite brazenly broke a throw-in by George Ivens, made in the 58th minute of the game. Yvan Van Impe's late challenge caught a Jacksonville 67's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yvan Van Impe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Wolfpack™'s Yvan Van Impe got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Sven Horring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. King Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tibúrcio Carabajal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game King Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Wolfpack™'s Tibúrcio Carabajal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute Joost Opdam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Ivens got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yvan Van Impe. The audience was convinced that King Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tibúrcio Carabajal was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Tibúrcio Carabajal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute King Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibúrcio Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Horring, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, King Batistuta put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tibúrcio Carabajal. Tibúrcio Carabajal came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacksonville 67's King Batistuta. But to his dismay, King Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jacksonville 67's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
