Aurel Cornea made in the 5th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jarno Van Dyck. Rogelio Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordi Paschiers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tomás Baldaia fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ad Fundum's protests and gave Tomás Baldaia a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Van Lueven in the 12th minute of play forced Jacksonville 67's goalkeeper Rogelio Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jarno Van Dyck in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jacksonville 67's Joost Opdam. Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Baldaia in the 16th minute of play. Kamiel Ingelborgh was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but King Batistuta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. The supporters of Jacksonville 67 booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Van Lueven didn't get a good kick on the ball. King Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamiel Ingelborgh having to interfere. King Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kamiel Ingelborgh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamiel Ingelborgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Horring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Alexandre Van Beneden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ad Fundum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. King Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamiel Ingelborgh having to interfere. In the 40th minute Tran Vrolijcx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ad Fundum's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manfred Bruse in the 42nd minute. The corner ended in Manfred Bruse almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni did a great save. 44 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goalkeeper Kamiel Ingelborgh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by King Batistuta. When King Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Jacksonville 67 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that King Batistuta couldn't finish the play. The Jacksonville 67 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ad Fundum were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tran Vrolijcx made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Jacksonville 67's King Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamiel Ingelborgh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Jacksonville 67's goalkeeper Rogelio Hanni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Baldaia. If Tran Vrolijcx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. King Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurel Cornea kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Kamiel Ingelborgh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Jacksonville 67 from getting a goal against them. King Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamiel Ingelborgh having to make a save. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Batistuta in the 82nd minute of the match. Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 83rd minute of play. Rogelio Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Vrolijcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Batistuta in the 88th minute of play. Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Albert in the 90th minute of play. Ad Fundum's Tomás Baldaia got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Baldaia came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogelio Hanni could save by the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
