The audience was convinced that Jose Brejnebøl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Sharma was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute, Kayhan Özercan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Karol Panasewicz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Blue Mountain State fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Panasewicz couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner. Afşar Uçuk went to the cornerflag to take it. 21 minutes into the game, Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andoni Zubizarreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Karol Panasewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andoni Zubizarreta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hong Shi Wei went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Aykut Aşkın made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Karol Panasewicz however managed to control. 47 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Brejnebøl came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jose Brejnebøl made the kick off in the second half. Fırat Uruç struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Robin Sharma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 14 YâReN FC. Karol Panasewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andoni Zubizarreta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Jose Brejnebøl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Sharma was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Blue Mountain State made a substitution. George Popescu replaced Hong Shi Wei. Afşar Uçuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Zubizarreta having to interfere. Lionel-Andrés Messi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andoni Zubizarreta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Andoni Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afşar Uçuk in the 81st minute of the match. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Kayhan Özercan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toma Bo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Robin Sharma made a huge save. 14 YâReN FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
