Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batıkan Muhsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Atilla Açıkalın made a precise shot to the right of Çakır Alyakut. 1930 Bafraspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rıdvan Balıkçı got free with Batıkan Muhsin in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Rıdvan Balıkçı scored to the left of an out of position Batıkan Muhsin, making the score, 1-1. Rıdvan Balıkçı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. Rıdvan Balıkçı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Rıdvan Balıkçı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1930 Bafraspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıdvan Balıkçı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as 1930 Bafraspor's Rıdvan Balıkçı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Batıkan Muhsin. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. Batıkan Muhsin was a little too slow when Mao Zhen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. After a rather tough play, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Mustafa İzzet Hazer got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilla Açıkalın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffel Bracke in the 60th minute of play forced Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalkeeper Batıkan Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, 1930 Bafraspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulf Bokelund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
