Atilla Açıkalın might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lütfü Öktemer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilla Açıkalın ran back to his position shaking his head. Lütfü Öktemer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Bernardo Sasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARAZZINO the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Bernardo Sasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC booed when MARAZZINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ball Pitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match MARAZZINO got a corner. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudiu Răducanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dacian Zburliş made a great header on MARAZZINO's corner, it was just that Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 36th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Zburliş hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Răducanu got free with Batıkan Muhsin in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Atilla Açıkalın struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Lütfü Öktemer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC.

54 minutes into the game, Olgun Baroğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Bernardo Sasso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. MARAZZINO made a substitution. Darío Benedetto replaced Tansel Öktürk. In the 79th minute, Atilla Açıkalın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 85 played minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Açıkalın. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Häll got free with Lütfü Öktemer in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of MARAZZINO booed when Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Millrick Moya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
