FENERBAHÇE's Frutos Laserna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Türkeş Uğuralp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 30 minutes of play, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frutos Laserna was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Lucjan Tokarczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FENERBAHÇE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 42nd minute Özgün Sefa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhu Ao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Türkeş Akşit came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Andırın SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Türkeş Akşit couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Türkeş Akşit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frutos Laserna. That made the score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

In the 56th minute, FENERBAHÇE's Özgün Sefa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zhu Ao. Zhu Ao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHÇE's zone, Türkeş Akşit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frutos Laserna came out of the goal and Türkeş Akşit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andırın SK's Jozef Botto was substituted for Türkeş Uğuralp. Andırın SK made a substitution. Olaf Jarosz replaced Cyprian Trochowski. Serhan Mehmet came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zhu Ao could save by the left post. Frutos Laserna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Tansu in the 73rd minute of play.
