When Ferhan Saik came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferhan Saik couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Mecnun Seha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to MarineerS FK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. In the 37th minute, one of 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB. 43 minutes into the match, Carl Rundell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Farid Mondragon, 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Levan Dost made a kick off. Farid Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ján Novák, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Novák in the 56th minute of play. Levan Dost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Tayfun Tanfer made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Tekin Batırhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayfun Tanfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levan Dost, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Tayfur Torkal in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MarineerS FK's Tekin Batırhan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Žydrūnas Pauža in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farid Mondragon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tayfun Tanfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levan Dost in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goal looked a bit too open when Ján Novák came free, but Farid Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Ján Novák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's zone, Tekin Batırhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Mondragon came out of the goal and Tekin Batırhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MarineerS FK made a substitution. Hatemi Akyel replaced Lucien Vercalsteren. Tayfun Tanfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levan Dost in the 90th minute of play. Farid Mondragon came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by MarineerS FK's Žydrūnas Pauža. But to his dismay, Žydrūnas Pauža quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
