Nizam Şafak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bozkurt's attentive Ceyhan Peykan managed to snatch the ball when Ahmet Sedat Gilşah made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Bozkurt's Kai Havertz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nizam Soner. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Nereo Luke scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nizam Şafak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Bobby Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Kai Havertz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nizam Soner was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Nereo Luke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nizam Şafak. Bozkurt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Luke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 45th minute of the game Ferdi Kadıoğlu made a throw-in which Adolfo Larrauri played forward. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kai Havertz to make the kick off. Bobby Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nizam Şafak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Gilbert Alströmmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nizam Şafak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bozkurt made a substitution. Emrullah Erboy replaced Adolfo Larrauri. Emrullah Erboy scored 4-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nizam Soner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bozkurt.
