Oscar Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Giro in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when Buenos y Malos Ayres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Giro couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Sandaili during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Sandaili. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo van der Struijk in the 32nd minute of play. Buenos y Malos Ayres's István Détári proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Buenos y Malos Ayres from getting a goal against them. Oscar Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Theobald in the 36th minute of the match. Tadeu Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buenos y Malos Ayres's István Détári proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Buenos y Malos Ayres from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Barca in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg István Détári saved Buenos y Malos Ayres from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Theobald made a kick off.
