If Aquiles Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Simon Oihan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Evelio Dacio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Delmar Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peñaloza. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Evelio Dacio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Delmar Vermudo to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Gonsalve in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgard Fonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alexandre Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, san isidro's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Oihan came free, but Delmar Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, san isidro's Lino Guerau got a free kick in the 37th minute. Peñaloza's Alexandre Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Kihlberg in the 39th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Aquiles Xabat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but san isidro's Delmar Vermudo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Gonsalve to make the kick off. Peñaloza made a substitution. Ovidio Jerrold replaced Ermegildo Precioso. A collision led to Peñaloza getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ermegildo Precioso hit a great ball. Delmar Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Oihan in the 64th minute of the match. Delmar Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Chorache in the 67th minute of play forced Peñaloza's goalkeeper Alexandre Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peñaloza's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
