Eduardo Arnalt made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AC LeX Luthor's Silvestre Semeno. Montrell Harrell made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Peep Pronk sent off a good shot on target. Peep Pronk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Montrell Harrell made a huge save. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Savion came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 11 minutes, Jorge Hagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Ben Hur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Hagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Peep Pronk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Montrell Harrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Chaime in the 18th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peep Pronk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Montrell Harrell having to make a save. Peep Pronk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Montrell Harrell firmly grabbed it by the left post. Primitivo Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fulgencio Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Anselmo Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peep Pronk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Montrell Harrell made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Eduardo Arnalt threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC LeX Luthor's Silvestre Semeno quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 41 minutes of play, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Montrell Harrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Montrell Harrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Montrell Harrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Hagi came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montrell Harrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Jorge Hagi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. AC LeX Luthor's Karl-Axel Kielstedt was substituted for Pedro Lucas. In the 83rd minute of the match, Anselmo Lluis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fulgencio Eyague saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Peep Pronk came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peep Pronk couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
