No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Börge Alkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santos Sidro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ARES FC DeusDeFutbol reached it. Sacronas Futbol Club's Santos Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 56th minute of play. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
