Moises Cilio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. 3 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Cilio came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriele Batistuta struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Santiago Gaizko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menchu FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Moises Cilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunatico F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Cilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lunatico F.C's Federico Urre got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriele Batistuta to maneuver through the defense. Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Gabriele Batistuta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santiago Gaizko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Gaizko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 54th minute Lunatico F.C were awarded a corner. Moises Cilio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Lunatico F.C's Moises Cilio to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Salvidor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paulo Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lunatico F.C made a substitution. Jouke Krol replaced Moises Cilio. Menchu FC made a substitution. Gaston Firmo replaced Uriel Gorri. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. Santiago Gaizko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Gabriele Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 73rd minute of play. When Menchu FC's Gaston Firmo in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Lunatico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damián Andres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Joël Devidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunatico F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Joël Devidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Jouke Krol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Camilo Salvidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lunatico F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
