Real Còrdoba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriele Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Abdoulay Doucouré hit a great ball. Abel Jusepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 23rd minute of the match. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Léo Messis sent off a good shot on target. Abel Jusepe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriele Batistuta went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Real Còrdoba FC's Abel Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Jusepe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Menchu FC were awarded a corner. Armando Roland went to the cornerflag to take it. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Cordeiro in the 39th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Jusepe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Jusepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 최 명 made a kick off. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Real Còrdoba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriele Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Jusepe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Menchu FC's Uriel Gorri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abel Jusepe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Abel Jusepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Menchu FC got a corner. Real Còrdoba FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Roland ran over to the corner to take the kick. 70 minutes into the match, Real Còrdoba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Abel Jusepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Jusepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Uriel Gorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 최 명 in the 76th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Cordeiro in the 78th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Jusepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Còrdoba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Gabriele Batistuta scored to the left of an out of position Abel Jusepe, making the score, 1-7. Real Còrdoba FC's Hu Jian Liang was substituted for Kang Guang Chao. 91 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when 최 명 came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 최 명, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
