During this time Luganeros AFC's players had a chance to rest. 26 minutes into the game, Moises Cilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunatico F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luganeros AFC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Moises Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Vázquez. A collision led to Lunatico F.C getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Damián Andres hit a great ball. Luganeros AFC's Cesar Restu was substituted for Luciano Luix. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Cilio in the 53rd minute of play. If Luis Vázquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vázquez came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Ezequiel Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Gaizko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Urtzi in the 63rd minute. With an all-out effort, Luganeros AFC's Santiago Gaizko threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Vázquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Santiago Gaizko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vázquez in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Moises Cilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunatico F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo was substituted for Luis Vázquez. Lunatico F.C's Jouke Krol was substituted for Moises Cilio. 83 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goalkeeper Santiago Gaizko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Bittor. Santiago Gaizko made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Yu Quan Di sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Joe Kimutai got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lunatico F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Yu Quan Di scored to the left of an out of position Santiago Gaizko, making the score, 1-2. Santiago Gaizko made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Luisito Urtzi sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Gaizko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rey Ronaldo in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Gaizko was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Ronaldo in the 98th minute of play forced Lunatico F.C's goalkeeper Santiago Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Luganeros AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lunatico F.C throughout the match.
