An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sauveur in the 10th minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Kåre Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julião Malafaia's late challenge caught a Sportivo Mela Banco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julião Malafaia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julião Malafaia to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's Froilan Bartolome sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kåre Magnusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kåre Magnusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Sauveur in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kåre Magnusson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sportivo Mela Banco's Bruno Sauveur shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 27th minute Bruno Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bresikas's Kåre Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Sauveur in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Sportivo Mela Banco booed when Bresikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julião Malafaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Bruno Sauveur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kåre Magnusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kåre Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Sauveur's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute Bruno Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sauveur in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Sauveur in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Magnusson saved Bresikas from getting behind. The Sportivo Mela Banco fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Sportivo Mela Banco's Bruno Sauveur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Bruno Sauveur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Julião Malafaia hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Bartolome came free, but Kåre Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julião Malafaia hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bresikas's Aquilino Eudoxio got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Sauveur in the 65th minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Kåre Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes of play Bresikas's Julião Malafaia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Julião Malafaia hit a great ball. Cheng Xiong Ang might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kåre Magnusson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cheng Xiong Ang ran back to his position shaking his head. Kåre Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Enrique Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bresikas's Kåre Magnusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Bresikas from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Enrique Astudillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bresikas's goalkeeper Kåre Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sportivo Mela Banco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Enrique Astudillo in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sportivo Mela Banco's Alberto Rosio. Cheng Xiong Ang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Sportivo Mela Banco's Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kåre Magnusson. Kåre Magnusson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Kåre Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar in the 96th minute of the match.
