In the 33rd minute Waldemar Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franko Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from López Heredia in the 43rd minute of play. López Heredia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Teodelina FC made a substitution. Silvano Baladi replaced López Heredia. Teodelina FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Black Rose 1979's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luca Savinov took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Black Rose 1979's goalie and right to Horia Păuceanu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Black Rose 1979's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Rose 1979's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luca Savinov was slow to take the kick. During this time Teodelina FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 65th match minute, Teodelina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Galo to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Teodelina FC's Siro Porfiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 75th minute Silvano Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Teodelina FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Black Rose 1979 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
