The AFC Napoca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mircea Mitulescu should have stopped the shot. Mircea Mitulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Zuid, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Doru Burtescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Los Guacho Pistola got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Libertad. Mircea Mitulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Libertad in the 30th minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, Los Guacho Pistola's Jan Zuid made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mircea Mitulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reynaldo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Anacleto Libertad came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Los Guacho Pistola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Libertad couldn't finish the play. Jan Zuid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AFC Napoca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Guacho Pistola were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radu Enache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Anacleto Libertad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mircea Mitulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiberiu Muntian during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AFC Napoca made a substitution.
