Etienne Langhmans did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Gavino Orlan 9 minutes into the match. Giles Lanen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Abelardo Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Draconia the free kick. A collision led to ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abelardo Ponciano hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seppe Maertens in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Orlan saved ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Etienne Langhmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Orlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. FC Draconia's Jan-Joost De Hooge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Sidro in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Vistruario came free, but Jan-Joost De Hooge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abelardo Ponciano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. In the 34th minute, Abelardo Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on FC Draconia's corner Emanuel Van Damme fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gavino Orlan quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Van Casteren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Gavino Orlan made a huge save. In the 41st minute Narciso Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Joost De Hooge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seppe Maertens hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Bruno Ekialde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Joost De Hooge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Etienne Langhmans made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Bruno Ekialde tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan-Joost De Hooge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Carolo Goi got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Etienne Langhmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Langhmans in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Ekialde came free, but Jan-Joost De Hooge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Ladio. Narciso Tano kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Camiel Creemers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Draconia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Etienne Langhmans's late challenge caught a ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Etienne Langhmans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etienne Langhmans to maneuver through the defense. When Camiel Creemers came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Draconia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camiel Creemers couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Draconia.
