The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anastasio Severino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Caviedes got free with Baykan Urangu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Sancho Mujica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Urangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baykan Urangu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Caviedes in the 36th minute. A collision led to F.C BEŞİKTAŞ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tekin Tongar hit a great ball. Tahsin Orhon charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahsin Orhon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
