The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Giovanni Motta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Navarro. ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni Motta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dida Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Rios in the 7th minute. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Emanuel Rios sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Rios. Julio Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Motta's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Rios took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Wilian Paraíba hit a great ball. Dida Taffarel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Ríos. Emanuel Cedeño hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Emanuel Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jenipapo SC were furious when Roberto Cafuringa was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Emanuel Rios placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Giovanni Motta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Motta in the 42nd minute of play forced ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️'s goalkeeper Julio Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Motta scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jenipapo SC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastián Ríos made a kick off. Big Head received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dida Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️'s Pedro Ríos to fire away a dangerous shot which Dida Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Ríos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Big Head notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Jenipapo SC's Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️'s Jorge Herbruger got a free kick in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Giovanni Motta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Navarro. That made the score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. After a rather tough play, ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️'s Jorge Herbruger got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️'s Big Head in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jenipapo SC's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Big Head came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ⚽️ Zamora Uxx Camp ⚽️'s Wiliam Torrijos was substituted for Haarald Wings. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Big Head in the 82nd minute of play. 3-3 became the score in the 86th minute when Wiliam Torrijos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wiliam Torrijos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Big Head scored 4-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jenipapo SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
