Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Guillelmus in the 32nd minute of the match. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Fidel Valente took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tomé Mota to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Valente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Valente to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Guillelmus in the 65th minute of play. Laércio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Ruberto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Valente in the 73rd minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Valente came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nuno Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Luz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Doni Recife came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Agua Santa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doni Recife couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tomé Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Utopía Muerta FC fully deserved thier win.
