Doru Apostu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Guillelmus in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Guillelmus came free, but Doru Apostu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Placido Abaunza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fidel Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Leonard Chirculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Leonard Chirculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paralia Athens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Romeo to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Paralia Athens:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Utopía Muerta FC:s goal. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Agustín Ruberto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Gordy Carnicero got a free kick in the 38th minute. Stelian Todericiu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Leonard Chirculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Chirculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Utopía Muerta FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Doru Apostu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Fidel Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Valente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Leonard Chirculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Ruberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Ruberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Todericiu's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Agustín Ruberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 62nd minute of play. Placido Abaunza's late challenge caught a Paralia Athens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Abaunza helped the player get up and apologised. Placido Abaunza hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Utopía Muerta FC's zone, Leonard Chirculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Ruberto came out of the goal and Leonard Chirculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paralia Athens made a substitution. Iulian Doinaș replaced Stelian Todericiu. In the 68th minute, Iulian Doinaș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustín Ruberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Teodor Romeo got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Leonard Chirculescu put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Agustín Ruberto. Utopía Muerta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Chirculescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Leonard Chirculescu charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Chirculescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The throw-in from Gordy Carnicero in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paralia Athens's Teodor Chirilă. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gordy Carnicero during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Gordy Carnicero got a free kick in the 89th minute. Teodor Romeo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Utopía Muerta FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paralia Athens.
