Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Chirculescu started the match with the kick off. When Stano Horáček came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC Kukova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stano Horáček couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Antón Boldižár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislav Klačko hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Miheș took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Václav Židek. FC Kukova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kukova's zone, Leonard Chirculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Václav Židek came out of the goal and Leonard Chirculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Václav Židek made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Stelian Todericiu sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Paralia Athens's Václav Židek threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonard Chirculescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Václav Židek was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucrețiu Miheș. After 33 minutes of play, Paralia Athens's Stelian Todericiu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Václav Židek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stelian Todericiu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Stano Horáček ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doru Apostu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Călin Vârlan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Stano Horáček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Doru Apostu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomáš Petruš stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonard Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Václav Židek having to interfere. Václav Židek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 68th minute of play. Călin Vârlan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Paralia Athens's Iulian Doinaș was substituted for Stelian Todericiu. In the 70th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Vârlan to maneuver through the defense. Doru Apostu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Vičan in the 70th minute of play. Václav Židek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Doinaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 77th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimír Bohuš to maneuver through the defense. FC Kukova's Václav Židek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Doinaș in the 78th minute of play. The Paralia Athens fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Paralia Athens's Leonard Chirculescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute, Iulian Doinaș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paralia Athens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Chirculescu in the 94th minute of play forced FC Kukova's goalkeeper Václav Židek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
