Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torgeir Gjermundsen kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Vie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Åge Undheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 4 minutes, Petter Vartdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Vartdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petter Vartdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Åge Undheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torgeir Gjermundsen took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Waaler. Christer Waaler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Einar Bøen to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Gjelsvik. Christer Waaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole Lorentzen in the 22nd minute of play. Åge Undheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Vie in the 27th minute of the match. Fabian Skogvold hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Åge Undheim made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Morten Sundseth sent off a good shot on target. Åge Undheim was a little too slow when Morten Sundseth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. Tore-Andre Røkenes charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tore-Andre Røkenes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Åsnes booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tore-Andre Røkenes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petter Vartdal was the one to do the kick off. Petter Vartdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes, Ludvig Refsnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AEK FC and the Åsnes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Refsnes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Endre Svensen hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Atle Romundstad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Waaler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Åsnes's Petter Vartdal in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK FC's goalie prevented a goal. Åge Undheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Vartdal in the 63rd minute of play. AEK FC's Åge Undheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Reitan in the 68th minute of play. Åge Undheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Hesjedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Torgeir Gjermundsen. Åge Undheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Hesjedal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Vartdal in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åge Undheim saved AEK FC from getting behind. Kyrre Holmefjord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Christer Waaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Reitan scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åge Undheim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Åsnes booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Glad didn't get a good kick on the ball. AEK FC's Åge Undheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Vartdal in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jon Hesjedal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Hesjedal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åge Undheim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petter Vartdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgeir Gjermundsen in the 94th minute of the match.
