Øyvind Norman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Curcio in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Tonio. Øyvind Norman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match AZURDUY F.C. got a corner. AEK FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roque Reno ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Kyrre Holmefjord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Chuan scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Øyvind Norman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Grønningsæter to strike the kick off in the second half. After 82 minutes of play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Cipriano Chuan made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 85th minute of the match Kenneth Husum sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Generoso Bemabe skillfully saved the ball. 88 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martin Grønningsæter came free, but Generoso Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AZURDUY F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
