Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Snorre Nygaard started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Ståle Skogli came free, but Marcial Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noah Onstad in the 4th minute of play. Marcial Dantae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noah Onstad went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Noah Onstad came free, but Marcial Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Prospero Rubio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludvig Refsnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 19 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Husum. If Prospero Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AEK FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Anibal Fernendo scored to the left of an out of position Ludvig Refsnes, making the score, 2-1. Ludvig Refsnes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santos Ioritz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Conrado Ubarna got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Øyvind Norman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Prospero Rubio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ludvig Refsnes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Palermo's Marcial Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ståle Skogli in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes, Noah Onstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AEK FC and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Noah Onstad hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Ståle Skogli made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Dantae. Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prospero Rubio made a kick off. In the 51st minute Prospero Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Refsnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Snorre Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Palermo booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Husum didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Marcial Dantae managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when AEK FC's Noah Onstad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Marcial Dantae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noah Onstad. After 65 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Øyvind Norman. 70 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Snorre Nygaard came free, but Marcial Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Dantae was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Atle Romundstad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atle Romundstad really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. Dionisio Oton hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as AEK FC's Kenneth Husum slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcial Dantae. That made the score 3-5 after 76 minutes of play. With a little luck, Palermo's Marcial Dantae got control of the ball when Noah Onstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Santos Ioritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludvig Refsnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Noah Onstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marcial Dantae made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Ståle Skogli came free, but Marcial Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AEK FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
