Olívio Abraão made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Valentin Plopșor sent off a good shot on target. Olívio Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Plopșor's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Paul Albuț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Gurgui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Paul Albuț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armandinho Queiroz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bogdan Gurgui. F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edgar Arghir hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Armandinho Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Gurgui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mihăiţă Călin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Simionescu's late challenge caught a Inter Gala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Simionescu helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Pombal in the 36th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Bogdan Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 minutes of play F.C.BARLAD's Edgar Arghir was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Valentin Plopșor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Gala's Olívio Abraão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Valentin Plopșor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olívio Abraão was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Bogdan Gurgui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Nóbrega in the 60th minute of play. Olívio Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Albuț, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Olívio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Plopșor in the 72nd minute of play. After 80 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Simionescu. Bogdan Gurgui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Vítor Nóbrega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 82 minute of play. Olívio Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Plopșor, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Simionescu to maneuver through the defense. When Marian Aliuta came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the F.C.BARLAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Aliuta couldn't finish the play. Paul Albuț took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Abraão. Olívio Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The supporters of Inter Gala booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Târban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inter Gala's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
