In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DARAS's goalkeeper Matey Trashliev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, Kuzman Bondzhov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Vârlan came out of the goal and Kuzman Bondzhov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boncho Zhilev in the 20th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Aurelian Vârlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuzman Bondzhov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Aurelian Vârlan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aurelian Vârlan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DARAS's Kuzman Bondzhov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 35th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Miron to maneuver through the defense. Matey Trashliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Bobeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Bobeica came free, but Matey Trashliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boncho Zhilev to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grisha Dragulev in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Vârlan saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. Aurelian Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuzman Bondzhov in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Cornel Mihai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Matey Trashliev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 minutes, Cornel Mihai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minerul Baita -MM- and the DARAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornel Mihai hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Boncho Zhilev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Aurelian Vârlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boncho Zhilev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Aurelian Vârlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
