Aurelian Vârlan was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Otávio Meirelles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otávio Meirelles really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Minerul Baita -MM- from getting a goal against them. After having played for 19 minutes, Nicolae Mandache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Mandache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan do Nascimento in the 55th minute of play. Aurelian Vârlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Toscano in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Cornel Mihai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelian Vârlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes of play, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Otávio Meirelles made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelian Vârlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Belmiro de Godoi hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Grozuță. Belmiro de Godoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelian Vârlan. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Otávio Meirelles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Vârlan was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Luizão Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Grozuță in the 95th minute of play.
