Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosmin Bobeica to make the kick off. The referee ignored Fc Pawonków's protests and gave Waldemar Soroka a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Bobeica in the 52nd minute of play forced Fc Pawonków's goalkeeper Czeslaw Jaroszewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
