Inter Gala's Olívio Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Mihai in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Anton Savin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gică Aldulescu lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gică Aldulescu hit a great ball. Armandinho Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Aurelian Vârlan made a huge save. If Jean Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cornel Mihai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olívio Abraão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Passos in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Maxim Grecescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelian Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Nóbrega in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Inter Gala got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armandinho Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Armandinho Queiroz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurelian Vârlan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olívio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Mihai in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Jean Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Gala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Cornel Mihai notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Inter Gala's Olívio Abraão. Olívio Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean Sena was the one to do the kick off. Olívio Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Grozuță in the 54th minute of play. Sydney Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sydney Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Pombal in the 62nd minute of play. Fabian Grozuță hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cornel Mihai got a free kick in the 64th minute. Olívio Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Mihai in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Tudor Hobjilă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Gala the free kick. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Tudor Hobjilă got a free kick in the 71st minute. José Vítor Nóbrega took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelian Vârlan. Aurelian Vârlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Aurelian Vârlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Aurelian Vârlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelian Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Pombal in the 94th minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
