Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cosmin Bobeica kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Călin to maneuver through the defense. Aurelian Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Aliuta in the 7th minute of play. Bogdan Gurgui made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Cosmin Bobeica sent off a good shot on target. In the 11thth minute of the game Valentin Plopșor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Simionescu in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Fabian Grozuță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baita -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 18 minutes, Edgar Arghir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.BARLAD and the Minerul Baita -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Edgar Arghir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Fabian Grozuță dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Mihai came free, but Bogdan Gurgui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Paul Albuț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Vârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelian Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Plopșor in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Grozuță. 42 minutes into the match, Paul Albuț notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan. Aurelian Vârlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Plopșor to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Albuț in the 53rd minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Aurelian Vârlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosmin Bobeica hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Aurelian Vârlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Plopșor in the 59th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosmin Bobeica during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cosmin Bobeica kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Edgar Arghir was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Edgar Arghir hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Mihai in the 71st minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Bogdan Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Gică Aldulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Mihăiţă Călin in the 74th minute really tested Aurelian Vârlan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rareș Vârlan hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Cosmin Bobeica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Miron. In the 84th minute, Marian Aliuta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octav Cretan charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octav Cretan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Octav Cretan hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Cosmin Bobeica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Plopșor struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Aurelian Vârlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.BARLAD. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Călin Târban during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Călin Târban hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
